Stellar Blade is close to a month old now, and it seems developer Shift Up might be teasing an upcoming update. Taking to Twitter, the studio recently tweeted out an imagine of what looks like a close up of an in-game enemy model, with the image teasing, “get ready for next week.”

What exactly the tease is referring to remains unclear. Prior to the game’s release, Shift Up confirmed that Stellar Blade would be adding costumes with post-launch updates, which would also include paid collaboration costumes, though it remains to be seen whether that’s what the studio is teasing here. Either way, it looks like we’ll find out for sure one way or another in a few days’ time, so at least we won’t be waiting too long.

In our review of Stellar Blade, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “Fluid and adrenaline-fueled combat, a compelling setting, and a stylish aesthetic make Stellar Blade an action game well worth experiencing.” Read the full review through here.

Stellar Blade is available on PS5. Prior to its launch, job listings indicated that Shift Up was already working on its next game, a AAA action RPG with an urban sci-fi setting.
