Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

It’s been a said and bears repeating but there are a lot of big games releasing this quarter… along with Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. Jokes aside, Team Ninja’s action RPG take on Final Fantasy has showcased some interesting mechanics and Jobs en route to release. Much like Nioh 1 and 2, it will also have three post-launch expansions.

Unlike the Nioh series (prior to the release of The Complete Editions), you can’t purchase them standalone. The official Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Twitter recently stated that, “The three expansions Trials of the Dragon King, Wanderer of the Rift, and Different Future will not be available outside the season pass, which can be purchased separately from the Digital Deluxe Edition at a later date.”

So if you want to more Stranger of Paradise content, your only choices are to either purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition or the Season Pass. No waiting to see if each piece of content is worth picking up or opting for those that appeal most to you. It’s all or nothing. How much the Season Pass will cost on its own also remains to be seen.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is out on March 18th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. For more details on the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes three days early access, head here.
