Point Blank Games and 505 Games’ upcoming action RPG Stray Blade might not be among the most high profile upcoming releases, but it’s one that has caught the eye of more than a few people with its gameplay showings so far. Originally set to launch last year, the game was delayed into 2023, and now, publisher 505 Games has confirmed an exact release date.

Stray Blade will launch in a little over two months from now, on April 20, as announced by 505 Games via a (very) brief trailer, which you can check out below. Set in the ancient land of Acrea, players are accompanied by the Xhinnon wolf Boji to uncover the mysteries of the kingdom’s destruction long ago, while crossing paths with a number of deadly foes in what’s being touted as a “challenging” and “hyper-responsive” combat system.

A closed beta test for the game has also been announced exclusively for PC, for which you can sign up through here.

When it launches, Stray Blade will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
