Sony had a special segment dedicated just to Street Fighter V at their Paris Games Week conference tonight, and while a lot of the information on the game had leaked, there were still some great new information on hand. For starters, we got a new trailer for the game, which you can see below. There was some sort of a goofy gag involving Katsuhiro Harada, who heads Bandai Namco’s Tekken series.

We also got confirmation that the game, long awaited, will finally be launching for PC and the PlayStation 4 on February 16 next year. The game will feature 16 characters at launch, and a fine tuning of beloved series mechanics. Given that there have been substantial betas for the game already, there should be no unpleasant surprises for players with this game, like there were with, say, Street Fighter 3 back when it launched.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information coming right out of Paris Games Week.
