Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition

It’s been quite the journey for Street Fighter 5. The fighting game came out in 2016 and for nearly four years has continued onward with continued updates and a pretty significant update to its roster. The time is finally coming for the support of the title to wind down, and it’s coming with a blast from the past with the master of the Secret Society, Gill.

Capcom announced the Champion Edition, which will feature almost every piece of DLC that’s released for the title since its release, including upcoming fighters. The edition was announced with Gill and now Capcom has released a video detailing how the mastermind plays. The character was originally introduced in Street Fighter 3 and fans will recognize his play style that fuses both fire and ice techniques. Check it out below.

Street Fighter 5 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC. The Champion Edition will release as a standalone edition as well as an upgrade for current owners on February 14th 2020. Gill will launch as a standalone character by the end of this year.
