Street Fighter 6 - Sagat

Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 commences Year 3 with the arrival of Sagat, a mainstay of the franchise, on August 5th. Check out his latest trailer below.

Though we haven’t seen any new gameplay, Sagat is known for his Muay Thai fighting style. He was the final boss in the original Street Fighter and part of M. Bison’s Shadaloo crew in Street Fighter 2. How he’s changed since his last appearance remains to be seen, so stay tuned for more in-depth videos.

On top of being a playable character, he’s also a Master in World Tour, with the player venturing to Thailand. After a run-in with a ghostly tiger, they meet the man himself, hauling a giant log and promptly destroying it. As with other Masters, players can learn under him and unlock his moves for battles against AI and other avatars.

After Sagat, C. Viper will join the roster this Fall, followed by Alex in early Spring 2026. Ingrid rounds out the Year 3 Pass in late Spring 2026.
