Capcom’s third DLC character for Street Fighter 6 is out now for Year 1 Character Pass owners. Debuting in Street Fighter 5 as a playable fighter, Ed is a brawler who can throw out flicker jabs from afar but excels at close-range combos. Check out his launch trailer below.

Unlike the previous game, Ed is more toned down and realistic, and all of his attacks are now punches. He arrives alongside a new stage called Ruined Lab, which features more than a few hints to former Shadaloo member, M. Bison. Perhaps the iconic villain isn’t dead after all, but we’ll have to wait and see in future DLC.

In the meantime, the fourth and final DLC character for Year 1, Akuma, arrives in Spring. Producer Shuhei Matsumoto couldn’t provide many details but commented recently how the Satsui no Hado master is “awesome looking with lots of great effects.” The development team is “very excited” for fans to see him and is “carefully planning out” how its presents him. Stay tuned for further updates in the coming months.

Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here.
