Street Fighter 6 – Open Beta Video Outlines Characters, Battle Mechanics, and More

Capcom will host an open beta for Street Fighter 6 from May 19th to 21st on all platforms. All players to try out the Battle Hub, eight characters and other content before the game’s release. A new Open Beta Video series is available, with the first part covering the playable characters and some of the mechanics, like Drive Gauge, courtesy of commentator Jeremy “Vicious” Mitchell.

The open beta will feature eight characters – Ryu, Guile, Chun-Li, Juri, Luke, Jamie, Kimberly and Ken. Classic and Modern Controls are available, the former featuring the familiar six-button layout while the latter streamlines attacks into four – Light, Medium, Heavy and Special. As for the Drive System, it offers access to techniques like parrying, Overdrive and Drive Impact.
