Street Fighter 6 - Sagat

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6’s next DLC character, Sagat, will join the roster on August 5th. Available standalone and as part of the Year 3 Character Pass, the Muay Thai artist will be available as a playable fighter and a Master in World Tour. Check out the gameplay trailer below for a showcase of his moves.

If you’ve ever played Sagat in many of the past Street Fighter games, his moveset is like coming home. Standing and low Tiger Shots; the Tiger Uppercut (with the heavy version to knock back enemies); and that devastating knee strike are all here. He also has a new move, Tiger Nexus, which can transition into different kicks to keep your opponent guessing.

Alongside his newer look, Sagat will also receive his classic outfit from Street Fighter 2 and a new stage, Proud Spire. Before his launch next month, EVO 2025 attendees can go hands-on from August 1st to 3rd.

Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Other characters coming in Year 3 include C. Viper, Alex and Ingrid. Head here for more details.
