Somewhere out there, an opposing fanboy just earned his wings. Whilst the PS3 and Vita versions of Street Fighter X Tekken will feature characters exclusive to that platform, the Xbox 360 will sadly have none. Producer Yoshinori Ono claimed that “because of differences in timing and things like that,” Capcom and Microsoft “weren’t able to decide on a character.” Ono added that “It’s just too bad, basically,” but not before rubbing salt in the wound by conjuring up what could have been: “In terms of characters we wish we could have put in the game, Master Chief or Marcus Fenix from Gears of War would have been really cool.”
