Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Server Issues Are a “Top Priority” for Rocksteady

"We hear and feel your frustration, and we can only agree, it’s unacceptable for the players affected," says director Axel Rydby.

Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League received a patch last week to nerf burning damage and how it scales into the end-game. However, server and login issues persist even after all these weeks. Game director Axel Rydby revealed in the recent Weekly Developer Update that its next patch will address the same, though “we might not be able to fix all those issues right away.”

“I want to assure everyone: This is the top priority for us. We hear and feel your frustration, and we can only agree, it’s unacceptable for the players affected. We need to do better, and we’re working hard to fix these issues. It is, however, not an easy nut to crack because it’s not one single issue. It’s several smaller issues that are affecting some players in different ways.

“We can only ask that you remain patient and keep giving more information through Customer Support to help us address the issues.”

As for why the team released a patch to adjust the balance first, Rydby explained that such changes are done “by our design teams, with little to no need for code support.” Server and login issues are “sadly not something a designer can fix.” While there may be questions about priorities, he assured, “We have different teams working on different issues in parallel. Rest assured, our engineering and network code teams are dedicated and completely focused on fixing network issues.”

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here. Rocksteady is working on a year’s worth of post-launch content, with Season 1 starting in March and adding The Joker as a playable character. New bosses, Strongholds and story content are also coming in the future – check out the roadmap here and stay tuned for further details.
