Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League recently received an extensive new gameplay look, with Rocksteady discussing the story and showcasing the combat, including mechanics like Juggle Kill and Counter Shot. The Standard and Deluxe Editions are also available to pre-order, with PS5 players getting a special Rogue Outfits bundle. However, that’s not all they benefit from.

As revealed on the PlayStation Blog, Suicide Squad supports Activity Cards, allowing players to track “Amanda Waller’s most demanding objectives.” It also utilizes the console’s SSD to “really push the boundaries of freedom when it comes to traversing around the city, so just getting around the environment is fast and intuitive.”

The DualSense’s Adaptive Triggers come into play when firing weapons, and Haptic Feedback allows you to feel the impact of hits (like when Captain Boomerang’s sticks strike an enemy). Meanwhile, 3D Audio support lets you hear every little sound, whether it’s someone crying for help or “every alien being turned into chum.” There’s no PS5-specific feature associated with Harley Quinn, unfortunately.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on February 2nd, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The next episode of Suicide Squad Insider will provide more details about the gameplay, so stay tuned in the coming months.
