Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive has a free trial on Xbox Live, allowing players to download and experience up to 3 hours of game time until June 15th. It’s only a trial at this point but you’ll need to download the full game before you start playing.

The timer will only start when you launch the game. Beware, since it can be running in the background as long as the game is open.

It’s also worth noting that the free trial is only available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. If you don’t subscribe to Xbox Live Gold, then the trial is out of your reach. You can also net the game and its season pass at a discount if you’re a Gold subscriber.

That being said, of the many free trials Microsoft has offered, Sunset Overdrive is probably one of the better ones due to the game’s excellent movement system, stunning visual style and awesome open world. Will you be trying it out? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more details.
