Sunset Overdrive Gameplay Trailer Reveals FizzCo Robots

Violence galore abounds in the newest trailer.

Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive received a new gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2014 during Microsoft’s press conference. And along with dealing with the OD’d, you’ll have to combat FizzCo’s security robots as well. It doesn’t help that they have cameras set up in the city as well. Check out the trailer above.

We also get a look at the usual destruction and navigation initially introduced. It doesn’t appear to have changed much since then – you’re still able to vault from one area to another and grind on rails. Your crowbar also doubles up as a zipline for traversing long distances. Did we mention the weapons? The weapons are an eclectic mix of beam weapons, lightsabers, exploding teddy bears and much more.

Sunset Overdrive will be available on October 31st for the Xbox One and a special console bundle has been announced by Microsoft for the same. Thoughts on the gameplay trailer? Let us know in the comments.
