Insomniac’s acclaimed open world shooter Sunset Overdrive, which served as an influence for the recent Spider-Man on PS4, is now available on Steam. That means Steam users can finally experience the joy of grinding around, taking on legions of mutants and blowing them up with flaming bullets. It’s also out for Windows 10 PC through the Microsoft Store – check out the trailer below.

Sunset Overdrive is set in the futuristic Sunset City. After most of the population turns into mutants or OD from ingesting too much Overcharge, the player sets out to fight back against manufacturer FizzCo. Along with the base game, the PC version includes The Mystery of the Mooil Rig and Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machine expansion packs.

It also comes with the Weapons Pack, which includes items like the Plague Bomb, to cause copious vomiting to your enemies; the Rager, which fires grenades that cause enemies to turn on each other; and the Multi-Lock Rocket Launcher, which targets up to eight enemies at once. At just $19.99, Sunset Overdrive on PC offers a pretty stellar deal to those who’ve never played it. Check out GamingBolt’s review of the Xbox One version here.
