Sunset Overdrive Releasing on October 28th, 8 Player Co-op Confirmed

Parkour mechanics revealed in new gameplay trailer.

Aside from arriving in a horrific Sunset Overdrive-themed bus with even more horrible cosplays, Insomniac Games finally revealed some more details for their upcoming open world title along with confirming an October 28th release date.

Unlike the footage seen before, the grinding and parkour mechanics in Sunset Overdrive look significantly more sped up and amazing than before. The weapons and basic gameplay are also showcased and it all looks as bright and colourful as could be. The 8 player co-op gameplay was also confirmed and will be known as Chaos Mode.

It’s encouraging to see the game out this October, especially since many exclusives and third party AAA titles were delayed into 2015. Will you be picking it up when it releases for Xbox One?

Stay tuned for more information from Microsoft’s E3 media briefing with Fable Legends being showcased and classic Capcom characters announced for Dead Rising 3. See anything you like? Let us know what in the comments below.
