Sunset Overdrive Tells Reviewers to Avoid Usage of “Sunset Overhype”

If you hate the game, at least be creative about it according to Insomniac's Brandon Winfrey.

Forbes has discovered a rather interesting message in review copies for Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive. In the video above, community manager and Sunset TV host Brandon Winfrey appears in the weekly show and implores reviewers to avoid lazy writing when reviewing the game.

“If you’re watching this, that means you’re currently reviewing or streaming the game. Look I’m not trying to sway your review score either way, I mean your opinion is your opinion. But I advise you not to use the phrase ‘Sunset Overhype’ because that’s just lazy writing!”

Sunset TV will serve as more than an outlet for meta humour – it will also be a source of information in-game, providing players with the latest news and fan art while also keeping you up to date on weekly and community challenges.

Sunset Overdrive releases on October 28th in North America and October 31st in Europe for the Xbox One. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know below.
