Nintendo finally unveiled just what the Bowser’s Fury part of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury entailed and it’s pretty nuts. Mario essentially joins forces with Bowser Jr. in a new environment and must stop Bowser, who’s become large and even more in charge, from destroying everything. Check it out below.

The new world appears to be a large free roam 3D level with different challenges and puzzles. Bowser Jr. follows Mario throughout, stomping on foes and painting different sections to unlock items. How this new “Calamity” version of Bowser is unlocked remains to be seen but it seems that Mario will battle him in his own giant form.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will release on February 12th for the Nintendo Switch. Along with this new expansion, players also receive the original Wii U title with various graphical improvements. What other quality of life features and changes can we expect? Stay tuned to find out.
