Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has received three character DLCs in its Fighter Pass Volume 2 so far, with Min Min from ARMS, Steve from Minecraft, and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7. The fourth addition was recently revealed as Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and now we know exactly when details on the upcoming DLC will be shared.
Nintendo has announced that series creator and Smash Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai will be detailing Pyra and Mythra in a 35 minute-long presentation on March 4, at 6 AM PT. As is always the case with Sakurai’s presentations on upcoming DLC characters, we can expect to see plenty of gameplay, and learn new details about Pyra/Mythra’s movesets, their Final Smash, the new stage, additions to the music soundtrack, and other content additions, such as Spirits and Mii costumes.
Pyra and Mythra are coming to Smash some time in March, and we will most likely find out in the presentation when exactly in the month they will be added to the roster. Following this fourth DLC drop for the current Fighter Pass, Smash Ultimate will be receiving two more DLC characters.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available on Nintendo Switch.
The presentation will be roughly 35 minutes long, and there will be no further new fighter announcements.
