Tactics Ogre Reborn

Square Enix has released a short new trailer to highlight one of the features for Tactics Ogre: Reborn. The trailer was released on Square Enix’s official Twitter account, which you can check out below.

The focus of this trailer is the concept of Elements and Divine Protection in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. The game features eight elements, and protagonist Denam’s element is set by picking a god that appears in the myth of Xytegenia during character creation.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn was officially announced back in August. It is based on the PlayStation Portable version of Tactics Ogre from 2010, and will feature fully-voiced cutscenes in English and Japanese, and re-recorded music.

Other enhancements coming to the game include quicker battles, auto-save, and the ability to change controls and the UI. The AI is also being revamped, and enemies will now adapt their tactics. The game will also feature a new leveling system that works on a unit-by-unit basis rather than the PSP release’s class-wide leveling.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on November 11.
