Potential evidence indicates that MachineGames might be discussing the development of a sequel to classic shooter franchise Quake.
MachineGames is using id Software's proprietary engine once again, as it did for all Wolfenstein games it has previously released.
The game will feature "a dynamic mix of linear, narrative-drive gameplay and open-area maps," according to an official description provided by Bethesda.
"[That] made it challenging from a technical perspective, but we gained that gritty and realistic feel to it that is so important to us," says game director Jerk Gustafsson.
Though the camera will occasionally pull back (like in cutscenes), the majority of the game will be played in a first-person perspective.
The likeness of Harrison Ford is being used, but Baker – known first and foremost for his role as Joel in The Last of Us – is playing the character in the game.
The action-adventure title will be primarily a first-person game with third-person elements sprinkled in, and will be set between the first and third Indy films.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, MachineGames' Indiana Jones game, Avowed, and Ara: History Untold are confirmed for the showcase.
The game's rumoured title is indicated by a host of domains recently bought by Lucasfilm featuring the potential full name.
