MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has received a near-15 minute deep dive, packed with gameplay for the upcoming action-adventure title. It starts by outlining the premise, with Indy and Italian journalist Gina Lombardi investigating the Great Circle and uncovering it before Nazi archaeologist Emmerich Voss.

From there, we get a better look at the puzzles, ranging from manipulating switches and twisting statue parts to platforming tasks like throwing a spear on an adjacent wall and using the whip to swing across. Though guns are present, combat focuses more on fisticuffs and successfully outsmarting enemies. Several options are available, from stealth with a rolling pin, parries and punching up close, catching them off guard with the whip, or tossing some dynamite.

As you explore and gain Adventure Points, Indy can learn new skills. Lucky Hate will allow recovery from a fatal blow if Indy can get to his hat, while Bare Hands lets you takedown opponents with unarmed attacks.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches on December 9th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s also coming to PS5 in Spring 2025, but check out our editorial for why it will end this year with a bang.
