The long awaited, highly anticipated sequel to one of Rockstar’s 7th generation hits, Red Dead Redemption 2, has slowly but surely been sneaking ever closer. With the third trailer, released just earlier this month to the adoration of fans and media everywhere, Take-Two president Karl Slatof has expressed to his investors that the company is very happy with the results.

“Two weeks ago Rockstar Games unveiled a beautiful cinematic trailer for the game that set the stage for what is shaping up to be another massive entertainment event. Player reaction to the trailer was phenomenal.” Said Slatof. The company has also been pleased with the media coverage they’ve been seeing, with positive preview coverage being almost universal.

Their first major original title to release since the original launch of Grand Theft Auto V on PS3 and Xbox 360 nearly 5 years ago, Rockstar is planning to release Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th, 2018. Don’t worry, they’re pretty sure the game won’t see yet another delay.
