Tales of Xillia 2 has received a new English trailer, this one talking about the union between “man and spirit”. Okay, it’s a little weird when the lights going out is attributed to spirits dying but it gets better.
As part of Namco Bandai’s “Tales of” series, Tales of Xillia is exclusive to the PlayStation 3. First released in Japan, the game was such a monumental success, that it prompted the publisher to release it in the West. With two main characters, a new perspective, a revamped battle system and much more, it looks to be another rollicking adventure for JRPG fans.
Also, the English voice acting isn’t half bad. It’s not Japanese voice acting, but then not many things are these days.
Tales of Xillia is slated to release in North America on August 6th and in Europe on August 9th. Hopefully Tales of Xillia 2 will be announced if the Western launch of the original goes well.
