A new trailer for the upcoming Team Sonic Racing dropped recently, which you can see below. The trailer shows off new tracks, the game’s teams, and vehicle customization. There’s been some skepticism surrounding the game among fans of the series and of previous Sonic kart racers, so the trailer should give you a good idea of how Sumo Digital’s newest effort is shaping up. Take a look below.

As the name implies, this installment of the series will not feature characters from other Sega properties, and will focus only on Sonic and his many friends and foes. It also be the first Sonic kart racer for current generation consoles, releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Team Sonic Racing was originally due out in Winter 2018, but was delayed in October of last years by a handful of months, with the developers citing quality concerns, and needing more time to get the game in order. It now launches on May 21 for the platforms mentioned above. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
