Tekken 7 Announced, Heading to PS3 and Xbox 360

Developed on Unreal Engine 4.

In a somewhat strange case this weekend, Tekken 7’s first trailer was leaked online. This led to producer Katsuhiro Harada going on stage at Evo 2014 to officially announce the development of Tekken 7. Oddly, Harada planned to show a different game but rushed to create a trailer for Tekken 7 after it was leaked.

As for the trailer, there isn’t much to see as no gameplay was revealed. There is mention of Kazumi and Heihachi, with a woman in a temple talking about Kazuya “destroying” Heihachi. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. You can check out the leaked trailer above with all its film grain effects.

What was the other game that Harada planned to show? Maybe Tekken x Street Fighter? Either way, how do you feel about Tekken 7 and how it won’t be on the PS4 and Xbox One (for now)? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
