Bandai Namco Studios is adding some interesting new features to Tekken 7 to help players improve. According to the Tekken team’s Mark Julio, frame data will be made available in Practice Mode, allowing players to properly work on their timing. Season 3 Pass owners will get it for free but it will cost $4 for everyone else.
Practice Mode is also seeing some revamps with punishment practice where the game will recommend moves that you can practice against and sample combos that have been updated based on each launcher. My Replay and Tips have also been added, which will look at replays and give advice on punishing. It’s pretty useful for knowing which specific moves could have been punished and where you properly punished.
The Season 3 Pass is currently available and includes three new playable characters, including Zafina. The frame data DLC should arrive sometime in Winter along with the revamped Practice Mode. All in all, not a bad time to get into Tekken 7 if you’ve never tried it before. Check out our official review of the game here.

TEKKEN 7 Season 3 Feature Update will also have new practice mode features including:
– punishment practice (with computer recommendations on moves you can individually practice against)
– updated sample combos (per launcher)— Mark Julio 『マークマン』 (@MarkMan23) October 27, 2019
Also added MY REPLAY & TIPS. The game will analyze a replay of your match and give you tips on how to optimize and learn when to punish better (specifically calling out the moves you could have used). It also compliments you (GREAT!) for punishing properly.
