In recent weeks, Bandai Namco has released several new gameplay trailers for Tekken 8 to shine the spotlight on some of the playable characters that will be included in its roster at launch, including the likes of series staples like Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, and Nina Williams. Now, they’ve released another new trailer that confirms that another character that series fans will be familiar with will be returning to the spotlight in the upcoming sequel- Paul Phoenix.

The hot-blooded American martial artist has appeared in every single mainline Tekken game so far, and unsurprisingly, Bandai Namco has confirmed that he’ll be featured in Tekken 8 as well. The new trailer showcases him in action, showing off his hard-hitting and bone-crunching tackles as he takes on his challengers. Check out the trailer below.

Tekken 8 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It doesn’t yet have a release date, but Bandai Namco says it will be out before April 2024.
