Fight Money is necessary for unlocking customization items, new outfits for each character, and Gallery items. Here's how to get some quick.

Tekken 8 - Reina

Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 has all kinds of unlocks available, from concept art in the Gallery to customization items for characters and your in-game avatar. Some outfits require completing Treasure Battles in Arcade Quest, but each character has an alternate outfit available to unlock. You must pay Fight Money, usually one million G per costume.

How do you earn Fight Money? By fighting, of course, though there are some exceptions. Tekken Ball and Training don’t give any, for example. Here are all the different ways to get Fight Money and become rich.

How to Farm Fight Money in Tekken 8

Character Episodes

Character Episodes offer a five-battle playthrough for each character, culminating in a unique ending. You’ll gain unique plates and other customization items, and more importantly, each cleared episode grants one million G. Considering they take about 10 minutes or so, especially on Easy and with Special Style, you can amass millions at a fast rate. Note that you need to finish The Dark Awakens to unlock Character Episodes for Jun and Reina.

Complete The Dark Awakens

The Dark Awakens is the new Story Mode, and though each battle doesn’t give Fight Money, you can earn a whopping 10 million G from completing all of its Chapters. Since you can set the difficulty to Easy and turn on Special Style, breezing through the story in a few hours is possible (which can be reduced further if you skip all the scenes). Completion also nets different rewards like health gauge outline colors, plates and more.

Arcade Battle

Arcade Battle is your de facto Arcade Mode in Tekken 8. You’ll play eight matches against different opponents, each providing about 40,000G on Medium difficulty. Actions like using a Rage Art confer additional amounts, but they’re not mandatory. The final opponent is a boss, and on clearing the mode for the first time, you earn one million G. After that, you’ll get 100,000G for defeating the boss.

Super Ghost Battle

If Arcade Battle gets dull, try engaging in Super Ghost Battle. You’ll earn roughly 40,000G per victory, not including any bonuses and some outfits depending on the opponents fought. Ghosts will be slightly more challenging, but if you’re looking to sharpen your skills and unlock more outfits, it’s a nice alternative.

First Online Matches

Even if you’re not an online player, completing your first Quick Match will grant one million G. The same applies to your first Group Match and Ranked Match, so you can earn three million G from doing all three. You’re at the mercy of matchmaking, so if you’re not especially interested in winning, throw the matches as quickly as possible to net the Fight Money and never look back.

Arcade Quest

Arcade Quest has several battles to participate in, each granting Fight Money. You also have Treasure Battles, which provide unique customization items. However, if you mainline the story, completing each chapter nets one million G. Complete all of them, and you get 10 million G.

Tekken 8 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here.
