Tekken 8 - Lidia

Bandai Namco’s next DLC character for Tekken 8, Lidia Sobieska, receives her first gameplay trailer before launching this Summer. The “Warrior Prime Minister” looks better than ever, hitting hard and fast with punches and kicks. Check out some of her moves below.

Introduced in Tekken 7, Lidia’s style appears straightforward yet still offers some flexibility, as she nimbly dodges attacks and retaliates with devastating strikes. Perhaps most interesting about her arrival is the interactions with other characters, like Jin Kazama (absent during the previous game) and Reina (who doesn’t miss a chance to sneak attack).

Lidia’s Rage Art is also incredibly impressive, with splashes of red text on a stark white background to match Poland’s national flag. Despite her tough exterior, however, she has a bit of a sweet tooth, carrying around a notebook of different dessert restaurants to visit. Stay tuned for more details on Lidia’s release date in the coming weeks.

Tekken 8 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Head here for more details on this year’s roadmap, which includes a Photo Mode, new story content and more.
