Telltale Games’ Fables title, based on the popular Vertigo Comics series, has finally been revealed as The Wolf Among Us and is slated for a Summer release on Xbox 360, PC, Mac and PlayStation 3.
Telltale CEO Dan Connors stated that, “Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the Fables universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players.
“Through an evolution of our approach to choice and consequence, we can further explore the complexity of each and every iconic character in a universe rich with untold history from the darkest sides of the storybooks.”
The Wolf Among Us is touted as a prequel to the comics, as you play as Bigby Wolf, the so-called “Big Bad Wolf” of the fables, who exists in New York City to help figures like Mr. Toad and the Three Little Pigs remain incognito. Stay tuned for more details.
