5. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

This one is in here for a very different reason to many of the other entries. I personally found the story exposition of MGS4 a bit laboured and long winded, an opinion that many do not hold. I certainly respect others views on the game's main story, but it's hard to argue the merit of the sheer length of the ending to Metal Gear Solid 4. The final sections with Snake's battle with Liquid and the microwave tunnel were fantastic, but the sheer length of epilogue cut-scenes was mind numbing.
