Alongside Octopath Traveler 0, Square Enix released a new trailer for its 2026 HD-2D action RPG – The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. It showcases more combat, touting seven different weapon types that the titular protagonist wields. Check it out below.
These include a bow, sword, and chain hook, though fairy companion Faie also chimes in with special magic like short-range teleportation, which is perfect for bypassing obstacles. Elliot can also use it to dash over quickly crumbling platforms.
While the combat looks solid, the story is perhaps the most intriguing aspect, as the trailer hints at time travel amid an ongoing war between beast tribes that humanity is caught between. How this will influence the overall narrative remains to be seen, so stay tuned for more updates.
