The Amazing Spider-Man swings onto PC today

Posted By | On 10th, Aug. 2012

Watch out, here comes The Spider-Man, finally scuttling onto Windows PC today in the UK.

The Amazing Spider-Man came out on consoles on 29th June in Europe, receiving a somewhat lukewarm reception, as I predicted and was subsequently chastised for in my hands-on preview. Eh-hem, Spidey is currently sitting at a 66 on Metacritic.

The game picks up where the film ends, introducing some classic villains, if not the tip-top ones, re-imagined for the new game.

Minimum system requirements and reccomendations are as follows:

Minimum:

OS: Windows 7 or (Windows® XP 32-bit (with Service Pack 3) and DirectX® 9.0c) or (Windows Vista® with Service Pack 2)

Processor: Intel Core® 2 Duo 2.6 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+

Memory: 3 GB

Video Card:

NVidia GeForce 8800 GT / AMD Radeon HD4770

Direct X: 9.0C or later with Shader Model 3 support.

Recommended:

Processor: Intel Core® 2 Quad 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon II X4 2.6 GHz

Video Card: NVidia GeForce 285 GTX / AMD Radeon HD4830
