The Amazing Spiderman 2 On Hold for Xbox One? Listing Disappears From Official Site

Could the Xbox One version of this "must-have" title been canned?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

For those who care – and lord knows there are so many – Beenox’s video game adaptation of The Amazing Spiderman 2, published by Activision, has apparently disappeared from the official site. As of now, it’s still listed for the 3DS, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Wii U. For the record, retail sites like Amazon and GAME still have listings for the Xbox One version.

According to an unnamed source that spoke to Gamers Honest Truth though, the Xbox One version is currently on hold. The user “The Badger” says it’s indefinitely on hiatus which isn’t really an indication that it’s been cancelled. Keep in mind the nature of anonymous sources though and exercise scepticism.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game is currently slated to release in North America on April 29th and in Europe on May 2nd. It will also be heading to iOS and Android. Stay tuned for more information on the Xbox One version’s fate though.
