The Ascent has been out for a few months now, and developer Neon Giant has been releasing fixes and updates for the cyberpunk action RPG at a pretty regular clip, but as you’d expect, they’ve got more waiting in the pipeline. The studio recent took to Twitter to share a post-launch roadmap for The Ascent to give some brief details about how they’re going to update the game in the coming months.

Before the year is out, there will be one new paid DLC, called “Cybersec Pack”, though there’s no word on what it will include. Meanwhile, across three free patches from now until the end of the year, The Ascent will also add a photo mode, several new cosmetics for shirts and weapons skins (including a Halloween pack soon), and a transmog feature.

Meanwhile, 2022 will also see the launch of one paid and free DLC pack each. The paid DLC is called “Cyber Warrior Pack”, but again, there are no details on what this will include. Meanwhile, the aforementioned free update will add a New Game+ options.

The Ascent is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Neon Giant recently said that it is “aware of a demand for a PS5 version”, so here’s hoping that gets announced in the near future.
