Blackpowder Games, comprised of the creative team behind hits like No One Lives Forever and F.E.A.R., has revealed that its self funded suspense adventure Betrayer is now available on Steam for $19.99/€18.99/£14.99. It’s finally out of Early Access and has more than its share of improvements. Check out the launch trailer above.

Designer and writer Craig Hubbard stated that, “Betrayer is the kind of game we’ve been wanting to make ever since we shipped F.E.A.R. You can explore large, open environments in search of clues and loot. You can tackle challenges aggressively or stealthily. You can outfit yourself with the equipment that best suits your play style. It’s a very player-driven experience.”

Betrayer takes place in the year 1604 where you head to a colony to Virginia, but find ghosts instead. You’ll also have to deal with different tribes as well as a mysterious woman in red. Look good to you? Let us know below.
