A new TV spot is available for Striking Distance Studios’ The Callisto Protocol. It’s live-action and stars Josh Duhamel, who plays protagonist Jacob Lee in the game. The TV spot alternates between two situations – one sees Duhamel out in the frozen wastes of the moon, slowly being overrun by Biophages.

The other is set in Black Iron Prison, which descends into chaos and corpses reanimating. One scene features a mutated Biophage getting uncomfortably close to Duhamel, and the TV spot ends with him ready to fight for survival. Whether he succeeds and makes it out alive remains to be seen.

The Callisto Protocol is out on December 2nd for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Along with the prison and surface of Callisto, players also explore “Below”, a network of tunnels underneath Black Iron. Environment art director Aasim Zubair says it provides a look into humanity’s first attempt to colonize the moon (which didn’t end well, going by the last story trailer). Learn more about it here.
