Leading up to the release of The Callisto Protocol later today, developer Striking Distance Studios has revealed some of its plans for post-launch content coming to the game. Announced over Twitter, the studio has revealed that an update with New Game+ and a Hardcore mode will be coming to The Callisto Protocol on February 7 for free.
Other updates planned for the game include the Outer Way Skin Collection on February 7, the Contagion Bundle planned for March, the Riot Bundle planned for Spring, and additional story content planned for Summer. These additions to The Callisto Protocol will be part of the game’s Season Pass. It is worth noting that Season Pass plans were already revealed back in November.
Striking Distance Studios recently revealed the required hardware that would allow players to run The Callisto Protocol with its graphics options tuned to High and Ultra settings. The High settings need either a Ryzen 7 2700X or an i7-9700K alongside either a Radeon 6700XT or a GeForce RTX 2070, while the Ultra settings need either a Ryzen 9 3900X or an i9-9900K, alongside either a Radeon 6900XT or a GeForce RTX 3080.
Stay tuned for more details on The Callisto Protocol, especially as we get closer to its release and its review embargo.
