Origo Games’ The Chainsaw Incident has finally received some gameplay footage and showcases two fighters – Milda and Massacre – facing each other in bloody combat. We also get a quick look at the character select screen along with the various attacks both fighters can unleash. Check it out above.

In a very Guilty Gear-esque tone, The Chainsaw Incident combines outlandish anime-esque designs with macabre characters wielding deadly weapons – all of this is represented in a 2D-ish art style with lots of flashy effects. A Kickstarter for the game is due to be announced soon, so you’ll have a chance to contribute and gain early access to the game before it officially releases. Stay tuned for more information on when the Kickstarter will go live.

The Chainsaw Incident is currently planned to release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. What are your thoughts on the first gameplay trailer? Let us know in the comments below.
