The PC version for Kalypso Media’s third person action RPG The Dark Eye – Demonicon has gone gold. It will be shipping on October 25th for Windows, Steam and via other digital distribution channels. Kalypso has also released new screenshots for the same, which you can view below.

The Dark Eye – Demonicon takes place in Aventuria, in which you follow the adventure of Cairon and his sister Calandra as they fight against the forces of darkness, taking on demons and other threats in the Shadowlands. Naturally, this means lots of hacking and slashing through detailed environments and horrendous monsters. The combat system promises to reward clever thinking and timing along with the use of dark magic to obliterate foes and gain an edge.

Sound appealing enough? The Dark Eye – Demonicon releases on October 25th for PC, but will also be heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2014. So stay tuned for more updates.
