The Dark Pictures Anthology - House of Ashes

Following the gameplay reveal of The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes late last month, Supermassive Games has a new terrifying trailer available. Brace yourself since it finally reveals the underworld creature that players will contend with. Check it out below.

The underworld creature in question, which has been described as an “ancient evil”, seems to be a large winged bat-like monster. This would explain why it thrives so well in the darkness so how you’re going to ensure that everyone survives will be a challenge indeed.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is out on October 22. It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC. The story concerns a military unit and local Iraqi patrol that clashes in the Zagros Mountains in 2013. After an earthquake, both squads find themselves trapped underground where an ancient Sumerian temple resides. Like previous games in the series, players can make different choices that can either help or harm the main cast.
