Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have released a gameplay first look at The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. The title takes place in the town of Little Hope which is seemingly abandoned (which is true for non-ghost-believing types). The gameplay video showcases how exploration works and the various choices that the main cast will have to make to survive.

If you’ve played Man of Medan, the first title in the anthology, this will look very familiar. Choices have different “intent” behind them so you can choose to be insistent, defensive or even say nothing. If its predecessor was any indication, then the wrong choice could get someone killed.

Along with Shared Story Mode, which allows for playing online with a friend, up to five players can opt for Movie Night Mode where each takes turns making decisions. The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It was recently delayed to Fall due to issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months.
