Publisher MyTona and developer Fntastic surprised quite a lot of people with the impressive announcement and initial showing of open world zombie survival MMO The Day Before earlier this year. Originally announced just for PC and due out sometime in 2021, the game’s received its next big update (courtesy of IGN), and announced a few changes to its release schedule.
For starters, its PC release date has now been announced, and as suspected, the game’s been pushed back by a few months. It will now launch for PC on June 21 next year. Meanwhile, new gameplay footage and details have also emerged, detailing various aspects of the game. You can check out all of it below.
Another new significant detail that’s been confirmed is the fact that, true to the developer’s teases earlier this year, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of The Day Before have been confirmed as well. There’s no word on when exactly the game will come to consoles, but we do know that that’s in the works.
You can learn more about The Day Before and its open world, endgame, progression, and much more in our interview with its developers through here. You can also check out some more gameplay footage released earlier this year through here.
