The Division 2 is Ubisoft’s follow up to their incredibly successful shared world looter shooter. The new game features a whole lot of what the first game did—just done better, and done more times. All of which is to say, unlike other looter shooters, you won’t be found wanting for content or things to do. Things like the Dark Zones…
UNLOCKING THE DARK ZONES
There are three Dark Zones for you to unlock in The Division 2. Dark Zones, of course, represent a lawless area which is practically a free-for-all, a blend of PvP and PvE content. As for unlocking them:
- Continue through the story, until you unlock Senait Ezera in the Theater settlement.
- Once she is unlocked, you can find her on the ground level
- Accept her first quest, which leads you to the entrance of the east Dark Zone. This unlocks the East Dark Zone for you.
- Compleye the quest and then she then proceeds to give you two more quests in sequence, which unlock the South and North Dark Zones.
HOW TO UNLOCK SUITE 3 IN THE GRAND WASHINGTON HOTEL MISSION
When clearing the first room in the mission, you will find a corpse with a key card on your right. Inside the hotel, find the passage labelled “Suites 1-10” and unlock Suite 3 in there with the key card you found. You will find a lot of meaningful loot in there.
FIND THE OUTCAST, HYENA, AND TRUE SONS KEYS
You get a lot of loot and consumables in The Division 2, but to get a key, you need to find a file cabinet. A file cabinet in an encampment has a chance of giving you a key for the faction that encampment belongs to (e.g., a file cabinet in an Outcast encampment may give you an Outcast key, and the same for Hyena and True Sons).
The best places to find file cabinets that will spawn keys is the southern entrance to the underground in the White House lawn, and the underground tunnel towards in the Downtown East area, north east of the White House.
