Where games like Fallout 76, Anthem, and even Destiny 2 stumbled at launch, it looks like The Division 2 might prevail. This is because it appears to be building on top of a predecessor that has had four years of persistent updates, and also because, on top of all that, it will continue to get content through the rest of the year too.

That “Year 1” content, so to say, was what was shown off in the newest trailer for The Division 2. This includes the $40 Season Pass for it, which will give seven days’ early access to the game’s three Year One expansions. These three new expansions, titled “episodes”, will otherwise be free, and add story missions, new modes, new Specializations, and more. The Division 2 will also have loot boxes for cosmetics, though that part makes sense, since Ubisoft had already confirmed that they will be following a similar monetization model for cosmetics with this game that they did for the first one.

You can check out this trailer for yourself below. If you are interested in seeing what the game’s first raid will be like, do make sure to check out the “end game trailer” Ubisoft put out for it some time ago too.
