The Division Update 1.7 Will Also Bring The Ability To Modify Your Character’s Look

At long last, you can take off your sunglasses!

The Division lets you create your own character before you start it- but unlike a lot of other RPGs that let you do so (such as Skyrim), you’re stuck with your character looking the way you designed them to be from then on. And after dozens of hours of gameplay, that can tend to start wearing thin, even if your character is the best designed character in a game this side of Link.

Thankfully, Ubisoft is implementing an option to redesign and customize your character (visually!) after Update 1.7. We already know that the update adds a lot of other additions to the game– however, character customization is a new feature that flew under the radar for many. Simply walking to a bathroom and locker room in the Terminal will let you re-customize your character entirely, changing every aspect of their look except for their gender. No currency, in game or real world, is needed for this, and you are free to use this as often as you want.

That’s a relief. The Division is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
