The Division’s Ambush Global Event Ends Today

Last chance to earn the new Classified Gear Sets and new cosmetics.

Posted By | On 30th, Jan. 2018

The Division’s latest Global Event, dubbed “Ambush”, will be coming to a close today at 4 AM PST/12 PM UTC. If you haven’t had a chance to pick up any of the new Classified Gear Sets, masks or simply want Tokens for the next Global Event, there’s still time.

This Global Event introduced unique modifiers like Ambush which increased damage dealt when stationary. Helping to encourage cover-based shooting, it was further compounded by additional modifiers which would decrease health and damage when moving or when too close to your allies.

The rewards for the Global Event included the ability to net Classified versions of Predator’s Mark, AlphaBridge, Tactician’s Authority and Hunter’s Faith. That means six piece bonuses for each of these sets, thus increasing their overall power. After the event, these pieces will be added into the game’s general loot pool.

There’s no word yet on balance changes that will be made to the Classified Gear Sets or whether their drop rate in the general pool will increase. Stay tuned for more information on that and let us know what you thought of the Global Event below.
