Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within 2 has received some new information on the customization system. In a new blog post, Bethesda has outlined how things differ from the first game.

This time, players will use different resources for customizing weapons and Sebastian – Green Gel is for upgrading the protagonist while Weapon Parts work to customize weapons. Sebastian’s stats can be divided into Health, Combat, Stealth, Recovery and Athleticism and it’s here that The Evil Within 2 allows you to create your own play-style.

Investing in Combat will unlock a skill called Bullet Cascade which allows the player to deal more damage with each shot fired. This allows for a more aggressive style of play. Upgrading Health will increase your HP and negate some lethal attacks (key emphasis on “some”). The Weapon Parts are fairly straightforward and can be used to add more ammo, increase fire rate, grant new abilities, etc. With the crafting system, players will also be able to craft weapons and ammo.

The Evil Within 2 will be releasing on October 13th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
