The Evil Within 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Lots of Sebastian Blaming

Poor guy just wants to find his daughter, for crying out loud!

Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within 2 will see Sebastian Castellanos, the erstwhile detective of the first game, returning to face his worst nightmares and save his daughter Lily. Unfortunately, he has a lot to deal with including various creatures and beasts that are out for his blood. The fact that everyone seems to blame him for Lily’s predicament doesn’t help.

The Evil Within 2 will build on the previous game’s psychological horror aspects but with a larger scale and more fluid movement. The game features many of the same tropes such as exploration, conserving ammunition and setting traps to combat the various monstrosities, and fighting with stealth rather than head-on. Of course, you’ll still have plenty of insane moments where nothing short of running will save you.

The Evil Within 2 releases on October 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Along with Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, it will feature enhanced visuals for the Xbox One X, which is out on November 7th.
